Vicky will be offering an 8 week beginners Mindfulness Meditation course
The 8-week course has been designed as an introduction for complete beginners, no experience is necessary at all. Vicky will introduce you to different themes & meditation techniques giving you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the practice, consider what mindfulness is & isn’t and experience how you can use it to help simplify your life.

Des from Pro-Holistic will be offering Qigong classes (pronounced ‘cheegong’)
Qigong has been practiced in China for thousands of years for improved overall health and well-being.

Caroline will be offering pre and post natal yoga classes every week.
Mum and baby -Suitable from 6 weeks post natal (12 weeks after caesarean) Mondays 1.30-2.30pm (classes start 28th Jan)
This class concentrates on those muscle groups weakened by pregnancy and birth , promoting core muscle activation (abdominals and pelvic floor) to enhance your post natal recovery as well as a chance to bond with your baby, includes much needed relaxation. An opportunity to meet with other new mums.
Pregnancy Yoga Class : Suitable from 14 weeks. Wednesdays 6.15-7.15pm (classes start 16th Jan) Designed specifically for pregnancy this gentle flow class strengthens muscles & joints weakened by pregnancy and promotes connection with your growing baby. Yoga can relieve common pregnancy problems, eg, back ache, indigestion, sciatica. The relaxation and breathing techniques release stress to leave you feeling rejuvenated, helping to induce a good nights sleep.

The course is aimed specifically at promoting overall health and wellbeing. In it, Gemma will teach simple but surprisingly effective techniques drawn from the Zen tradition to help manage everyday life, deal with stress and pain, improve your concentration and focussing skills, and boost general health and wellbeing.

Lorraine Livingstone will be offering a weekly Yin Yoga class
Join Lorraine every Monday at 12.15-1.15pm for the quiet contemplative practice of Yin Yoga. Poses are typically held for between 5-10 minutes, with a strong focus on breath and connecting to inner silence. The long held poses target the connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones and the deep fascia. Energetically, yin yoga improves energy flow (chi/prana) by stimulating the various meridian lines.
Yin yoga is the perfect balance to your regular yoga class or other physical activities, and is suitable for all abilities.

Lyndsey from Little Tales Yoga will be running children’s yoga classes on Mondays
Children’s yoga – Fun, interactive and taught through tales!
Each week the children take part in energetic stories, themes and games learning yoga based postures along the way. With a focus on children developing a sense of ‘Self’, the children become more aware of themselves and those around them. The children also learn how to breathe well and how to relax!

Sara’s small number classes encourage a personal exploration of body and mind. The focus is on breathing and moving. Yoga is a fantastic experience that helps to strengthen and create resilience, Sara teaches to encourage a daily practice.
