Creative workshops

Get creative whilst boosting your wellbeing and have a lot of fun. These sessions are great for icebreaking.

Mindful Art – These mindful art activities aim to engage your senses and delve into concepts such as embracing imperfection and daring to take creative leaps. Using art as a tool, we facilitate problem-solving and self-exploration.

Vision boards – an immersive blend of creativity and manifestation. Are you ready to bring your dreams to life? This is where your aspirations come to life in a visually inspiring way. It’s not just about setting goals; it’s about manifesting your dreams into reality.

Poetry – For poets of all levels. Uncover the nuances of form, rhythm, and imagery as you craft unique narratives. Discover the beauty of language and the transformative power of poetry in a condensed, inspiring experience.

Storytelling – A fun and exciting workshop for anyone to feel more confident and find out new things about their peers. This workshop will have you up on your feet and embracing silliness to break the ice and feel more creative. We are all storytellers and we’re always telling stories even when we don’t realise it!

Sewing – from threading needles to mastering basic stitches, our workshop offers a supportive environment for exploration and creativity, leaving with newfound confidence and the satisfaction of creating something beautiful with their own hands.

Laughter Workshop – a structured session or event designed to promote laughter as a form of therapy, stress relief, and overall well-being. Participants engage in various activities and exercises aimed at inducing laughter, such as playful games, improvisation, humor exercises, and breathing techniques.

Improvisation & Play – theatre and performance skills can boost your confidence, critical thinking and creativity. This session delves into key concepts including character development, stage presence, and storytelling techniques through interactive activities and discussions.

Relaxed Creative Writing – Through gentle writing prompts and supportive guidance, participants can unwind and tap into their inner creativity, fostering a sense of relaxation and mindfulness. Engage in therapeutic writing exercises aimed at reducing stress, enhancing self-awareness, and promoting emotional resilience.

Reflective Creative Writing – Similar to the above and still taught in the same relaxed way but we’ll be looking a little more inwardly to reflect on our day-to-day lives. We’d be building our own character cards and looking at ourselves as the heroes or antagonists of our own story.

Relaxed Creative Crafts – From simple DIY decor to personalized gifts, this workshop offers a fun and educational experience. Join in for an inspiring session filled with creativity, learning, and the joy of making something beautiful with your own hands. Crafts are varied but could include decorative jars, pressed flower art, jewellery making, vinyl record painting, mask-making, map printing or decoupage.

Massage & holistic therapies

Reiki – Tap into your body’s natural ability to heal itself with Reiki – a transformative practice that channels universal life energy to promote stress relief and emotional balance. Gentle touch or energy transfer works to align and rejuvenate your body’s energy centres, fostering a sense of calm. Suitable for all.

Self Massage – a practice that eases muscle tension, promotes relaxation, and reduces stress. Whether using your hands or tools, this accessible form of self-care fosters a deeper connection between your body and mind.

Shiatsu – an ancient form of massage based on Chinese acupuncture theory that often includes the use of breathing and stretching. 

Soft Tissue Therapy – focusing on muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia. Practitioners employ techniques like massage and stretching to alleviate pain, reduce tension, and enhance flexibility. This therapy is effective for various conditions, from sports injuries to chronic pain, promoting relaxation and overall physical health by addressing specific areas of the body.

Mindfulness & self help

Mindfulness – Working towards being present moment, mindfulness is a great tool for stress management, improving focus, and cultivating overall wellbeing. Extending beyond formal meditation sessions, this practice encourages a mindful approach to daily activities leading to a more balanced and mindful existence. Suitable for all.

Happiness & Gratitude Workshops – these sessions blend positive psychology principles with immersive nature experiences to provide a holistic approach to wellbeing. Through engaging discussions, mindfulness practices participants and play, we will explore the science of happiness and cultivate a sense of joy and fulfilment.

Nutrition – a workshop or course designed to guide participants through the essential steps of developing a healthy eating pattern that matches their health goals, food preferences, and lifestyle demands.

Movement based practices

Interested in getting up on your feet but know that you definitely don’t want yoga? Then take a look at these practices.

Pilates – Focusing on controlled movements, Pilates offers a versatile way to build core strength, improve breath control, posture & flexibility. Using some weights and assists, Pilates offers a comprehensive workout suitable for individuals of all fitness levels.

Buff bones – includes a blend of Pilates. Buff Bones is an innovative exercise system designed for optimal bone health and overall strength. Developed by a physical therapist, this program offers a safe and effective solution for those with osteoporosis or anyone prioritising their bone health.

Dance – Dancing releases endorphins, reduces stress and boosts our mood. It can enhance mental sharpness and memory, while emotional expression through movement provides a creative outlet for tension release. Whether in structured forms or freestyle, dance proves to be a succinct and enjoyable method for nurturing both body and mind.

Nia (Dance) – a holistic movement practice that combines elements of dance, martial arts, and mindfulness. This class aims to promote physical fitness, emotional well-being, and self-expression through joyful and expressive movement.

Tai chi – an ancient Chinese martial art. Initially developed for combat and self-defence, it has evolved into a sport and form of exercise. Tai chi is a gentle, low-impact form of exercise in which practitioners perform a series of deliberate, flowing motions while focusing on deep, slow breaths.

Qi Gong – a gentle yet powerful exercise system designed to cultivate vitality, balance, and inner peace. Through a blend of flowing movements, mindful breathing, and focused intention, participants will learn simple yet profound Qi Gong exercises that promote relaxation, flexibility, and energy flow throughout the body.

Sound healing – a holistic practice that uses the power of sound to promote healing and wellbeing. Different frequencies and vibrations can resonate with different parts of the body, promoting healing and restoring balance to the mind, body, and spirit. When an organ or part of the body is vibrating out of harmony or diseased, sound therapy aims to correct these imbalances and promote healing.

Gong bath – a sound healing practice using resonant gongs to induce deep relaxation and balance. The harmonious vibrations release stress, balance energy, and create a meditative journey for enhanced well-being. Accessible to all, it’s a community experience fostering relaxation and inner harmony.

Harmonic Vocals – a group overtone singing class, involving the fundamentals of harmonic vocalisation and the practice of using this technique as a therapeutic modality.

Forest School & Campfire for Wellbeing – This workshop is for children, families or groups of adults. These sessions offer a unique blend of outdoor education, nature immersion, and community building.

Cooking Workshop – an interactive session where participants learn culinary skills, techniques, and recipes under the guidance of an experienced chef or cooking instructor. These workshops can range from beginner-level classes focusing on basic cooking principles

Therapy, coaching & counselling

This is a personalised journey of growth, where individuals work closely with a coach to achieve specific goals. This tailored approach allows focused attention on challenges and aspirations often in a 1:1 session but some of these practices can also be tailored to groups.

Mind-body Coaching – a holistic approach to coaching which includes holistic practices including guided meditation, breathwork, and gentle movement to alleviate tension and pain. Suitable for all.

CBT Therapy – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – a clinically proven psychotherapeutic modality that meticulously examines the interplay between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Play Therapy – 1:1 sessions for children, spanning from nursery to high school age. Yoga – in all it’s forms!

Yoga blends breath, movement, and mindfulness, providing stress relief, physical fitness, and mental clarity. Beyond the mat, yoga can contribute to better sleep and alleviate pain, offering a holistic path to balanced living. We can run a general Yoga workshop or any of the modalities below. All of these can be tailored to suit all levels and experiences.

Hatha Yoga – designed to balance your body and mind. Focusing on uniting breath and movement through a series of postures, this practice teaches proper alignment, strength-building and relaxation techniques.

Chair Yoga – a version of yoga that is practised sitting in chair. It focuses on the breath with some gentle stretching. It has been shown to promote wellbeing and can also help to release tension. Chair yoga is inclusive and accessible and can be of particular benefit if mobility is limited.

Face Yoga – A yoga practice for toned, lifted skin. This self-care practice involves facial exercises that target muscles, reduce tension, and promote a radiant complexion.

Kundalini Yoga – a dynamic blend of physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), movement, stretching, meditation, chanting (mantra) and relaxation, often accompanied by live music. A regular practice of Kundalini Yoga activates the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system, expands lung capacity, purifies the bloodstream and builds core body strength.

Partner Yoga – a unique blend of collaborative yoga postures and shared movement. This is a playful and supportive practice that offers the same benefits of traditional yoga whilst incorporating the joy of shared experience.

Seasonal Yoga – This practice aligns with the changing energies of the seasons, tailoring sequences, poses, and intentions to align with nature’s cycles. Attune your body, mind, and spirit to the natural rhythms of the world. Focus on renewal with energising sequences during spring, explore strength and more challenging poses throughout summer, feel grounded with balance & stability in autumn and focus on restorative practice, meditation & inner reflection during winter.

Yin Yoga – gentle, slow-paced prolonged poses that target the body’s connective tissues, enhancing flexibility and joint mobility. Slow down and feel the stretch with this restorative practice.

Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) – a guided meditation promoting conscious relaxation, balancing the nervous system for deep rest. Yoga Nidra is associated with reduced stress and improved sleep relaxing the body and mind.
